Braylon Edwards Trade – Thoughts

As I woke up this morning, I got my breakfast, turned on ESPN, and noticed something on the bottom ticker: Cleveland WR Braylon Edwards had been traded to the New York Jets.
At first, I was surprised. Why would Cleveland do this? Do they not want to win any games this year? Are they cashing in the season already? But as I thought about it more and more, it started making more sense.
Everyone knows that Braylon Edwards is a problem child; He is also lazy, and doesn’t have a great off …

Atlanta Hawks 2009-10 Season Preview

The NBA season is getting close and everyone is getting excited to see how it pans out. Will LeBron finally get over the hump? Can Shaq contribute enough for what he is getting paid? Can Kobe and the Lakers repeat? Will the Celtics stay healthy enough to continue their dominance?  What sleepers teams will there be? Well, we might not have the answers, but we feel we’re pretty close.
WestSportsReport.com is proud to announce that they will be having a team preview every day for the next 30 days.  Going by …

Don’t agree with something? Discuss it on the forum.
Not really surpised. Everyone gets dunked on. Jordan even did.
If you have seen this yet…its very interesting. I don’t understand the big deal in all of this.

2. Its a summer camp, if you’ve played in one of those before, you know its all about offense, not defense.
3. Why is it such a big deal in the first place. Nike/LeBron completely overreacted.

The Nuggets and Lakers tip off tonight in Denver. This series has been pretty even with the Lakers ‘winning’ more 4th quarters than the Nuggets, and that has been the difference in the series.
The Lakers, much like the Cavs, have shot horribly on offense. Outside of Kobe Bryant, they don’t have anyone who can hit consistent jump shots. And until Game 5, they decided  not to feed to their strength of their huge inside advantage.  The Nuggets start a 6′6″ center in Nene…I mean why wouldn’t you go down low?
The …

This has been the best stretch of playoff games I’ve seen in awhile. The games are competitive. Carmelo Anthony is turning into the superstar we thought he would. Even watching two teams (Orlando and Denver) that no one gave a shot at the beginning of the playoffs compete and win these games is great. One thing isn’t. Watching the officials completely debacle these already great playoff games.
Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals has been the best and most recent example of this. There were 86 free throws. …
