DE/OLB Jon McKinney Interview – Feb. 24, 2010

John McKinney is an NFL hopeful from Wingate University. He is currently projected as a priority free agent and has not been invited to the combine. However, he could very well be drafted with a strong showing at a pro day. He has the size and speed to make people want him for the DE/OLB spot and has a lot of raw skill as a pass rusher.

2010 Free Agent Quarterbacks

This particular class is not very strong; there are no clear solutions for teams with quarterback issues. The aforementioned teams should either pursue a young solution via the 2010 NFL Draft, or trade for a QB such as Donovan McNabb, Kevin Kolb, Michael Vick or Brady Quinn. The “headliners” of this Free Agent class are either of the older washed-up veteran, or inexperienced/untested youngster variety; neither being an ideal fit for most teams. With no CBA agreement forthcoming, the pool shrinks even smaller, as most of those who would have been UFA are now RFA.
